Joe Biden is being congratulated as US President-Elect and Kamala Harris, as the VP-Elect. In fact, media, most of the US population, including more than 76 millions who voted for Biden and those who went along with  the outcome, and a lot of leaders around the world, have accepted that Joe Biden will be the US next president. Meanwhile, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are moving forward with the presidential preparations and necessities of building an administration  highlighting their agenda.

We are already beginning the transition. We’re well underway. The fact that they’re not willing to acknowledge we’ve won is not of much consequence,” Joe Biden told the media.

Leaders Around the World Congratulate Joe Biden

Several leaders around the World have already congratulated Joe Biden for his win. The leaders include those of the European allies (Germany, UK, Ireland, France),  Canada, India, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea,  Israel, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Paraguay, Nigeria, Kenya,  Namibia, Egypt, Zimbabwe,  Zambia, Ghana, Ethiopia, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa  and some other leaders around the World.  China, Russia, Brazil, Tanzania, and Mexico have not so far congratulated Joe Biden.

The US and the World are waiting for President Trump to accept the results. In fact, President Trump has rejected the published results and his team is proceeding with legal actions.  Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ win will not be officially certified until after the Electoral College voters meet in December 2020.

Meanwhile,  Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said,  on Tuesday, November 10, 2020,  that “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.”. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have laughed at Mike Pompeo’s comments.

Joe Biden Getting Ready for the Transition

Since the AP projected the results (see AfroAmerica Network:US 2020 Presidential Elections: AP Projects that Joe Biden Has Defeated Donald Trump, Becoming the 46th US President ) Joe Biden strategy has been to focus on thetraditional path previous president-elects have taken as they were getting ready to assume the presidency.  The path includes the following steps: appointment of transitional team, identifying and vetting the candidates for official political positions, contacts with international leaders, and solidify their political agenda and key policies.

In upcoming articles, AfroAmerica Network will cover the details on the agenda and the candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are considering and vetting. It is expected that women and minorities will be highly represented and play a major role in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' administration.
